The West Coast Fishing Club has earned a reputation for running a fleet of safe, seaworthy Boston Whalers, experienced guides and superior equipment. The blue water fishing grounds off the west coast of the Queen Charlottes are rarely visited by sport anglers. These areas are safely accessible in our big Whalers which are ideally suited to the challenge. And while others fishing further south on either coast of the Queen Charlottes have to contend with long boat rides, wind and weather, our island home means West Coast guests are only minutes from fishing, whatever the weather. We offer a range of boats suited to your personal tastes and comfort from 19' through 27'. In addition, there's no need to head in if you're hungry -- the zodiac "Candy Boat" tours the waters twice a day to make sure guests are fully stocked for snacks and beverages! Guided Fishing. Our 22' Boston Whaler Outrage comes complete with VHF radio, depth sounder/fish finder, emergency equipment, upgraded fishing equipment (4 Graphite rods and Islander reels), Halibut gear and survival suits. Guided 22' Boston Whaler. Guided Off Shore Class. Get to the areas where only the big twin engine Whalers can safely go. These off shore areas are safely accessible by our large 25' and 27' boats. Some of these areas have produced commercially caught Halibut over 400 lbs! 25' Our Boston Whaler Outrage vessels are equipped with dual V6 200hp engines, 9.9hp 4-stroke trolling engines, 2 VHF radios, a Global Positioning Satellite System (G.P.S.), fish finder/depth sounder, emergency equipment, upgraded fishing equipment (custom graphite rods, Islander Reels), halibut and shark gear, and survival suits. Three guests may fish up to 5 rods, 10 hours per day.Guided 25' Boston Whaler. Or, charter our 27' Boston Whaler powered by twin 200hp outboards, and 25hp 4-stroke trolling engines complete with enclosed cuddy cabin and marine head. VHF radios, depth sounder/fish finders, emergency equipment, upgraded fishing equipment (5 custom rods and Islander single action reels). Halibut gear, shark gear, and survival suits (Mustang Ocean Class) are included for up to 4 guests who may fish up to 5 rods for 10 hours of fishing per day.Guided 27' Boston WhalerOffshore 27' Boston Whaler & 212 helicopter. Unguided Fishing. Repeat guests and expert fishermen can venture out on their own in our well-equipped 19' Boston Whalers. Each boat comes standard with a new 90hp 4-stroke engine. They are also equipped with a VHF radio, depth sounder/fish finder, compass, safety equipment, survival kits, 3 salmon rods, halibut gear, bait and all the terminal tackle you'll need.
