The Outpost ReportsAugust 4 – 8, 2008Patience is a virtue and the Travis Exclusive group of guests were rewarded for their patience as the bite came on the last day of the trip. For Steve Gallivan the timing could not have been better. Steve, coached by guide Kevin (Kermode) Sturgess, caught on the last day a derby winning 32 lb Chinook in 92 feet of water south of Hippa on a 6” spoon. Jeff Laplante, coached by guide Steve (The Log) Cote, was also awarded a Tyee pin for his 31 lb Chinook caught at 3 Rocks in 80 feet of water on a coyote spoon.
