Robert Meath set the mark for the Boeing Exclusive group of guests when he landed his 40 lb Chinook. Coached by guide Kevin (Kermode) Sturgess, Robert caught his silver beauty at the Wash Rock in 76 feet of water on a spoon. Dec Lee, coached by Robert (Picasso) Gordy, caught a 35 lb Chinook at Selveson in 73 feet of water on a spoon. Mark Orenstein, coached by Quinn (Al Pacino) Lowen, also caught a 30 lb Chinook at Selveson in 80 feet of water using a plug…..and all of this action happened on the first day of the trip…..great lift-off Boeing !

Tom Cogan, coached by Ken (Kenny B) Beatty, was awarded a Tyee pin when he caught his 30 lb Chinook at Wash Rock in 50 feet of water on a hootchie. Kenny B also coached Ken Magill when he landed his 30 lb Chinook caught at Wash Rock in 60 feet of water also on a hootchie. Bob Nicomini, coached by Steve (The Log) Cote, caught the largest Hali of the trip when he landed his 167 lb monster in 220 feet of water at Flamengo Rock. A total of 35 Chinook were caught ranging from 17 lbs to 40 lbs….the sun came out on the last afternoon of the trip and it what was the perfect closing to a great weekend….enjoy the rest of the summer….see you all next season….go M’S!
