The story i've been told is this fish hit the last rod in the water as they were looking to leave and take a break from the 35knt winds. From a former guide that has worked alongside Bud, I’m sure this fish had something to do with the way he was maneuvering his 27 ft of Boston Whaler Offshore Predator in that stiff wind…Nobody better at the helm of than him, or it could be his lucky yellow shirt.
