The Outpost Report: June 13, 2008

June 13, 2008

Hawaiian music, calm seas, pristine wilderness, comradeship and good fishing prevailed over this Father’s Day weekend. The Dave Christman Strathcona Mechanical Limited Exclusive group of guests was enchanted by the magic of the Charlottes. Hawaiian Greg (The Big Kahuna) Kerner entertained everyone with his guitar playing and Don Ho type vocals. Texan Rodney Bingham talked baseball trivia and the Edmontonians convinced their American friends that watching NHL hockey in Edmonton is the thrill of a lifetime!

In the meantime there were some fish to be caught and young Cody (Salmon Slayer) Christman brought home a 24 lb Spring, 26 lb Spring, 29 lb Spring and a 31 lb Tyee. It was Cody’s first time Salmon fishing and he had the time of his life…..great job Cody!
The largest Hali’s of the trip were caught by Greg Kerner 100 lbs, and Greg Worobec 85 lbs. Thanks for making this Father’s Day weekend so special gentlemen…..see you all next year!
