OUTPOST UPDATE: I have no fishing update today as the new group in house was actually working all afternoon. Which makes this a great opportunity to make a confession…I was having some fun and threw you a red herring last Friday.
The mountain range photo in the post from June 25th is definitely not from Haida Gwaii, it’s Mount Everest…
So worry not you don’t have to cross that range by chopper on the way to the Outpost. It was also a hint for the bird picture I posted on the same day…
The bird is a BLACK BULBUL found in the Himalayas and this one was photographed by my father in Butan.
For those of you who spent hours trying to decipher the species…I was just trying to see if you were awake…he he.
The weather really calmed down tonight and it was a beautiful evening…
For some reason I’m feel tomorrow is going to be a VERY fishy day…check back to see if my guide instincts are correct.
