This August, The West Coast Fishing Club is proud to welcome Hexagon, one of Ontario’s most acclaimed restaurants and a perennial favourite on Canada’s 100 Best, for an exclusive culinary residency at The Clubhouse. Known for its elegant modern French cuisine, precise technique, and artful presentation, Hexagon brings a sophisticated and contemporary perspective to Haida Gwaii’s wild landscape.

Led by Chef Rafael Covarrubias, this special event will showcase inventive tasting menus inspired by the Pacific Northwest, seasonal coastal ingredients, and the culinary creativity that has earned Hexagon national recognition.

What to Expect

Exclusive Multi-Course Dinners - Each evening features a thoughtfully designed tasting menu that blends Hexagon’s refined French foundations with the bold flavours and pristine ingredients unique to Haida Gwaii.

Chef Interactions & Culinary Moments - Guests will have the opportunity to meet Chef Covarrubias, learn about his creative process, and enjoy intimate culinary touches throughout the week.

Fishing & Adventure by Day - Spend your days fishing the legendary waters surrounding Langara Island before returning to The Clubhouse for evenings of inspired dining and warm camaraderie.
